Doyletech introduces a corporate succession planning service to be headed by our Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Neil Knusden. Our work with companies across Canada tells us that there are many a company in which the issue of succession planning has not been adequately addressed. Succession planning is a process for identifying and developing people with the potential to fill key business leadership positions in the company. Succession planning increases the availability of experienced and capable employees that are prepared to assume these roles as they become available. Our service also emphasizes placing a value on the business and understanding potential exist strategies for the owner(s). For more information on this service, please visit Doyletech’s Corporate Succession and Transition Planning (CS) page. Neil Knudsen will head this Doyletech service. He is a seasoned executive with 20 years of experience in the management of both small and large enterprises. In 2008, he accepted the position of Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) with Doyletech. While the position of EIR is commonly found in the venture capital industry, we are finding a demand for services similar to those normally offered by an EIR. Neil has worked with us on several challenging projects in recent months and we decided to create this new position at Doyletech. Previously with us, Neil has assisted entrepreneurs in the preparation of marketing plans, product roadmaps, annual budgets, and full-blown corporate business plans. Mr. Knudsen is also available for short-term placements with clients to assist with the implementation of their plans.
